Love Like Suicide is the Japan bonus track

Amazon.co.jp are reporting that there will be both standard and deluxe editions of Not Your Kind Of People released in Japan.

The deluxe edition will contain an additional track called Love Like Suicide. This will be track 14 on the sixteen track version of the album. Both editions are released on May 16 via Sony Japan / STUNVOLUME. The deluxe editions is already listed in the Not Your Kind Of People discography.

Record Store Day 2012

Garbage will be releasing 2 limited edition 7-inch singles in the UK and Worldwide as part of Record Store Day 2012.

Record Store Day is April 21st.

Collectors in the UK will be able to get hold of a red 7-inch vinyl with two tracks from the forthcoming album Not Your Kind Of People. The release is limited to 500 copies.

While in the USA you will be able to get hold of a white 7-inch single which contains a remix by Butch Vig. This is limited to 2,900 copies, 1,900 of which will be sold in the USA.

Hello everybody! My name is Armelle, this is my first post here, and instead of showing my collection, I wanted to come up with a new issue. I recently unpacked some of my garbage stuff, and to my surprise I realize I’ve got a some things double!

I know there’s more somewhere but this is what I’ve found so far! Some I knew I had them cuz its impossible sometimes to buy something u want and not getting something you’ve got already!! Ive never sell anything from my collection, I don’t have the heart to do it!!! But I know I should, so I could get some other stuff that I want! What do u guys do? Do u guys just sell them or keep them? If u have, post some pictures of your twins!

Here is some of my collection:
Unfortunately, lack of internet last year meant that my collecting was pretty much put on hold. I am really looking forward to getting back into it now.

Of all the items in there, my favourite would have to be the Marc Jacobs boots. I don’t know why, given that they’re not really a piece of memorabilia. But to me, these boots epitomise the BLM era. Plus, they’re one of the few items I have that are not CD’s or records – when people see my G cupboard the boots are always the first thing they comment on. Unfortunately, they’re a size 5, so they’re too small for me to actually wear but if I could, I don’t think I would because I’d be so afraid of ruining them.

There are a few other items that are not in the G cupboard – I have a whole box of CD singles somewhere (really must dig that out!) and a tour jacket from v2.0 in the wardrobe. Also I have a couple of framed tour posters in the hallway – one from the debut era and one from BLM (both Aus tours). I’d love to get a poster of the Melbourne BLM show (the one I have is Sydney) because it was on my birthday – one of the best birthdays ever. Thanks to my friend for going with me and putting up with my mini-meltdown when Shirley came on stage!!!

I don’t want ‘everything’; I’m really fussy about what I do and do not buy. I really love all the little memorabilia trinkets so I’ll probably be looking at getting some more of those where I can. My dream item is the BUTG keyrings – they’re so beautiful, but sadly, so rare.

I’ve just ordered the 1996 video and the recent Absolute Garbage DVD off Amazon.com – really looking forward to getting these. Then I’ll start catching up on all the AG era stuff I missed!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles sound track is reported to be released November 18th 2008 in the USA. This release should contain the track Samson & Delilah which Shirley performs as part of her acting involvements in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”.

New Garbage – Witness to Your Love

A new Garbage track called “Witness to Your Love” is set to be released on a new charity “limited availability” compilation in the USA. The release can be obtained from Urban Outfitters from Wednesday, October 15 until January 31, 2009.

The money from the sales of this release will go to the Pablove Foundation. As this is for charity please buy this release rather than being a cheap skate and downloading it for free.

Shirley confirms this new material on a recent Interview on KROQ. You can download this full length interview below.

So this is where in my opinion Garbage promotional material production started to fall apart really. Surely there are a few cool things that were produced in this era, but certainly nothing of the calibre of the other 3 eras.Admittedly though, I think the beach ball, frisbee and candle are cool, and since these photos were taken I have also obtained a cool pair of the official black and white wristbands.
