When and how did you get into Garbage?
I was 14 and one afternoon on THE BOX Only Happy When It Rains came on. I was hooked from view one. Luckily on the box you can “order” videos so I ordered it whenever I could, but I wasn’t the only one, and one day I got it recorded it on video tape... I think I still have that somewhere…

When did you start collecting?
Gee, I don’t think I actually started “collecting” until after Version 2.0 came out. When Push It was released as a single I saw it in the store and decided to buy it. The Boom Boom Satellites Remix was so freakin’ good that I realized I was only getting half of Garbage by only getting the album and not the singles/other releases. That day at Tower Records was a dawning day for me and since I have collected everything I could get my hands on/afford.

Do you or did you have any aims when you started out collecting?
Yes… to purse the best possible musical pleasure in any way shape or form relating to Garbage. =D

How big is your collection?
Not as big as I would like it to be (see my sorry pictures). I see pictures of other people’s pictures and am a little embarrassed. In my mind (and all my friends and family’s mind) I have a little too much. But, I have been proven wrong, and it’s so addicting to get Garbage everything! I can’t stop so I am sure that some day I will have a much more impressive collection. These pictures here show what it is like today.

What is your favourite Garbage item in your collection?
Probably my Eric Kupper Bleed Like Me Remixes CD, but really I love each item. =)

How much do you think you have spent on your collection?
I don’t even want to think about it. But if I had to give a number, I’d say around $500 or so. I guess it could be A LOT more, but so far worth every penny. I used to have more items back in the day. Some of my things were lost in moves or ruined a long the way.

What’s the most you have spent on a Garbage item?
$200, for Garbage Tickets in 1999 at the Universal Amphitheatre. But I don’t know if that counts as this about collections (although it DOES say a Garbage item), so I will say $80 for the Shut Your Mouth 3 CD set (which I no longer have).

What’s the most you would ever spend on a Garbage item and what is it?
$100 on the Shut Your Mouth 3 CD set, but it would have to come with the slipcase.

Does your Garbage collecting Obsession stretch to seeing the band live in concert?
Eg: Do you follow the band from Show to Show for a period during a tour?

Huh? Ya I go see them in concert, but do I follow them? No… not enough time and money being a full time student and working full time. Although all the time I spend on the forum you would think I just sit at home all day the computer, but really I am logged in while working. Hehe.

Will you ever sell your Garbage collection? If you were asked this same question in 5 years time what would your answer be?
OMG no! I have done that before and NEVER again! Never my ENTIRE collection, not now and not in 5, 10, 15 years- ONLY if I had like 4+ copies of the exact same thing. Right now I have 3 copies of the WDYLM single but want to keep them.
