When and how did you get into Garbage?
I first got into Garbage when I heard 'Stupid Girl' but after that I didn't hear anything cos I was too busy getting into stupid stuff like the Spice Girls! However, I later heard 'The World Is Not Enough' and my love was reignited!
When did you start collecting?
I bought a couple of trash items from the 'Version 2.0' era, but I really started collecting in the 'Beautiful Garbage' era.
Do you or did you have any aims when you started out collecting?
I wanted to get every single released because I wanted the b-sides and remixes and I didn't like downloading them because I felt guilty!
How big is your collection?
Quite big, I achieved my aim of getting all of the singles and I have quite a few of the trash items etc.
What is your favourite Garbage item in your collection?
Umm, tis a hard one! I do really like the 7" vinyls from the debut era because I really like the covers! Especially the 'Stupid Girl' fabric/tea-cozy type things!!!
How much do you think you have spent on your collection?
Over £300 i expect!
What’s the most you have spent on a Garbage item?
I can't remember! Some of the rarer trash items I own cost me around £20 - 30.
What’s the most you would ever spend on a Garbage item and what is it?
I would pay over £100 for something very special like some quite personal to one of the members of the band.
Does your Garbage collecting Obsession stretch to seeing the band live in concert?
Eg: Do you follow the band from Show to Show for a period during a tour?
No. However, that's only due to the fact that I'm at school and need good grades for university!!! If I had free time - I definately would!
Will you ever sell your Garbage collection? If you were asked this same question in 5 years time what would your answer be?
To be truthful, I don't know. At the moment - no. But I do not know if I'll like Garbage forever, but for now and for as long as I can see I will contine to love them with all of my hearts!!!
