When and how did you get into Garbage?
Late 1998, heard the singles “Push it”, “I think I’m paranoid” and “Special”, as well as “As heaven is wide” on the “Gran Turismo” Playstation game.

When did you start collecting?
Bought “Version 2.0” and a few singles soon after I got into them, became hardcore Garbage fan in mid 1999 where I bought old singles from e-Bay and other internet sites.

Do you or did you have any aims when you started out collecting?
Once I heard that there was a rubber Subhuman 7” and a metal Vow 7”, I just had to have them. Have yet to get the rubber Vow promo though :(

How big is your collection?
Roughly 100 items, including all UK singles, albums, a few LPs, promos, 12” singles etc.

What is your favourite Garbage item in your collection?
The self-titled 7” box set... a fantastic idea that I have never seen anywhere else done by any band before or after... but then again all of the 7” singles from that era are completely original and a delight to have in my collection

How much do you think you have spent on your collection?
Too much! I have no idea, my Vow 7” cost £50, but nothing was more than that... I tend to spend less now, and only buy new releases and the odd promo

What’s the most you have spent on a Garbage item?
£50 on Vow 7”

What’s the most you would ever spend on a Garbage item and what is it?
Would love a large signed framed photo, would pay up to £250 i guess, but probably not now.

Does your Garbage collecting Obsession stretch to seeing the band live in concert?
Eg: Do you follow the band from Show to Show for a period during a tour?
I have only seen the band twice, first time was 14th November 2001 at Astoria in London, my first ever gig, and the one that all others have to compare to, then 28th August 2002 at Electric Ballroom, Camden, which was again one of the best concerts I have ever been to.

Will you ever sell your Garbage collection? If you were asked this same question in 5 years time what would your answer be?
Probably not, maybe the odd item (I have traded in the past), but things might change. A lot of my G items have been damaged from over-use, so I don’t think they’d be worth as much!
